Ca’ Pesaro Museum – The international gallery of art

The grandiose building that currently houses the international gallery of contemporany art, was built during the middle of the 17th century, for the noble and very wealthy Pesaro family, on the basis of drawings by the most important Venetian baroque architect, Baldassare Longhena.
It is an imposing building, with a splendid faade on the Grand Canal, inside which we can admire the masterpieces of the most important exponents of modern and contemporany art: Chagall, Klee, Kandisky, Klimt, Matisse and others.
